LCD monitor shopping
Hmmm, I did a bunch of searches and couldn't find any threads worth of note.
In a act of utter stupidity, I cracked the glass on my old Samsung 215TW which they no longer make.

There's a lot of extremely useful information there in making your choice.
I ended up plunking down for the 2490WUXi. 1920x1200 is surprisingly readable at 24", perhaps due to the .27 dot pitch.

I have a 24" Acer that is about 4 years old, a 22" HP that is a year old, and two Scepters- a 20" and 22" which are 6 and 2 years old respectively. I would have to not recommend the Scepters but they are cheaper models. The Acer and HP are top grade!
