Laser printer recommendations

As the title mentioned, we need a color laser printer that can print 1,500-2,000 per month. We are currently using Brother MFC-9840CDW model, but always causing problems.

Makes me want to do this...

My boss is looking to upgrade to something different laser printer that will ACTUALLY work without falling apart after few months later... also printer toners replacement that doesn't cost arm and leg for it.

What do you guys use at work?

Well all-in-one will always be sub-par to a standalone printer. My company uses Brother products, and they are pretty good. We use cheap HL-2710W through out the company, they very good, and we print more than 2K pages a month in each dept. They of course make their money on the cartridges.

For color printer we use Minolta Konica. Just stay away from HP products, those printers break like there is no tomorrow.

We probably get a nice printer and use our Brother All-in-one as our fax & copy machine only.

Thanks for the recommendation... I also heard good things about Minolta Konica.
I guess I will start from there.

In regards to Konica, they are great for everyday based color printing, the cartridges are expensive but they last! However, Minolta is not for photo-realistic prints. For precise artwork prints, Canon printers do a solid jobs @ low cost.

Let me know how your research goes, maybe I need an update too

Xerox Phaser solid ink printer.

That's what we use at work. The inks last a long time. And the printers are solid... probably print at least 1,000 pages per week and rarely have a problem.

We use a samsung all in one laser for color duties in my house. Seems to work ok and ink is average in terms of how long it lasts
