Just got a new number... keep getting spammed

Just got a new number... keep getting spammed
So I just bought a new T-Mobile pre paid SIM card, and I installed it in my new phone, and I keep getting 2-4 calls a day from 1-800 numbers, and this one number located in UTAH.
I have no given my number to ANYONE yet as I'm using the rest of my contract which ends in 2 days.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of these spammers? I thought Cell phones couldn't be spammed with telemarketing nonsense.

I've noticed pre paid phone often recycle their numbers quicker. Chances are you got a number that was in use a little while ago.
My advice? Call shiT-mobile and get your number changed
