Just got a good deal on this on ebay, it's a Dell 6000 and configured the exact same way on Dell's site it would cost $1356. I got it for 885 plus shipping/insurance.

you must have missed the 750 off 1499 deal dell was giving out. so for the same system you could have added about $150 more in upgrades and get the laptop for 750. and recently dell has been consistingly giving out big discount coupons on laptops. but still its a good deal for a laptop however you look at it.

There was no discount coupon when I checked b/c that's the first thing I did but still that would've been nice. I guess it doesn't really affect me too much b/c I bought it for business and am writing it off regardless.
