Jumping on the CD-RW train, looking at Yamaha CRW-F1ZE
That's right, I'm finally thinking about buying a CD burner. After years of telling myself I didn't need one and mooching off of the friends that did have them when I needed a CD burned, I've decided that I should just go get one.
The Yamaha burners have always seemed to get good reviews, being consistently fast as well as reliable. The new Yamaha CRW-F1ZE is a 44x24x44x, and has this technology that they call "DiscT@2" which can burn an image onto the surface of the CD. Like so:

Scroll down to the bottom of that page and you can see. Pretty nifty in my opinion.
Does anyone have this drive or any previous model Yamaha burners? Better yet, does anyone have any reasons why I shouldn't get this one? Best Buy has them for $120, and they also have a $20 mail-in rebate.

Burning Brakes
i have the buslink with under buffer protection. has not stalled on me whenever i burn things...whether it be pics, music, whatever. comes with nero software which i think is better than adaptec. the burner costs about $70 in bestbuys. i bought it with a $30 rebate.
