itunes music match quick answer
Trying to get a quick answer before I get moved to the proper section were nobody will read this for a couple hours.
Here is a ? for you audiophiles out there. In iTunes is there away I can group all my songs from one band like in music match. Here is my example. If I put 4 metallica cd's on music match I can have the artist Metallica with a + sign when I click on the plus sign all the songs appear. Now i put the same 4 cds on iTunes I have 40 songs listed is there away to minimize this or is this itunes. thanks

iTunes . . .
1. You can type Metallica in the search box in the top right of iTunes. This will list only songs with Metallica in the ID3 tag.
2. Click on the first song and play. iTunes will play through only the Metallica songs.
3. If you want to keep that playlist and not have to keep typing Metallica in the search box, just create a new Playlist. Drag all those songs from step 1 into that and you'll have it all for you whenever you want.
4. You can also check/uncheck the box next to the song to remove it from the active playlist temporarily.
Have fun . . .
