Can I add insurance on a Sprint phone I already have? Or does it need to be when I buy the phone? If I did get insurance, I did break thephone or loose it, will I get thesame phone as a replaceent? Or will it be a lower or high $$ phone? Can I ask for a better phone & pay the dfference?

You can add insurance to a phone you already have.
If you make a claim, your phone will be replaced with the same or similar phone, depending on availability. $$ value probably won't be identical but s/b in the same category.
To my knowledge, you cannot pay the insurance company the difference.

 

I've claimed I think 3 times. Cost me $35 each time. YOu have it regardless of phone and can be added on at any time. If you buy a phone for $1 on ebay and it hasn't been discontinued for a long time, they'll probably have it and send you another. You can take it off anytime too. Oh and never say you broke it. Just say you lost it. If you say it was stolen they ask for a police report. If it's broke they might try to fix it.
