How to stop MSN from launching when I use Outlook

All of these Microsoft programs are linked somehow, and I can't quit MSN until I close out Outlook and IE. Is there a way to unmingle the two programs?

it's in the options menu somewhere. it's something about messaging. uncheck that box

What window's do you have... 95, 98, CE,ME,NT, and/or XP???

BTW: old... but i mean OOOOOLD IT joke in bold above...

That way we can help... i can tell you in XP... just right click on the taskbar/properties/start menu "tab"/customize/show on startmenu thingy... it should say Internet and E-Mail with check boxes... uncheck the email... or make it default to Outlook instead of MSN...
