Seems pretty fast to me.

I use Opera Mini as my web browser.

It didn't work on the BB browser. I AM SHOCKED!


But i've been meaning to download Opera anyways, so heres a good excuse

no way that was edge!! wait doesn't opera mobile cache webpages on their servers so the load wicked fast?

i only got 700 on my iphone 3g at my house, but 3g is always slow here, i think its actually catching only edge, i run it on wifi anyways while home :/

Mini technology

Opera's mobile software uses a remote server to pre-process Web pages before sending them to your phone. Web content is compressed to reduce the size of data transfers, enabling fast browsing experience at low costs even on simpler phones.

^That doesn't mean that the speed test isn't accurate. If the test works by having the phone download/upload an mp3 file like DSLreports' speed test then the speed would be accurate.
