How do you protect your cell phone?

I see some people wear their cell phones around their neck with a lanyard. And of course, there's the classic cell phone case that people wear on their belt.

I have a leather case I keep it in on my belt when I'm working. When I'm off, I just throw it in a pocket.

I normally just keep it in my pocket. I just make sure that nothing else such as keys or coins go into that pocket.

Motorola Razr

Anyone found a better case than the one Cingular is offering for the Razr?

It's similar to a PDA protector with velcro but has no clip on...like a velcro wallet...what were they thinking?

Anyone seen a better holder?

Thanks..

I have a leather case for my LG6190 (flip). It's not a holster case, although you can clip it on, if you want. It's a case that covers both the front and back on the outside with plastic to view the outside screen, it covers the screen on the inside, as well as the keys. Basically, the whole phone is protected and 100% useable and able to flip open with the case on...no need to take it out of another 'case' to use or see who's calling.

I tend to keep phones for quite a while, so I've always used a leather case for my phones. Sorry...can't find a pic of it.

You've never heard anyone refer to ebay as egay??? It was a joke (although not a PC one), not a personal attack. Relax a little.

Anyway. I am using an OEM Motorola case for my Razr. Best one I found, and I liked it so much; that I bought a second one. I got them both from Ebay in auctions llike this one.

It has a magnetic clasp to keep it closed, and a swivel holster in the rear. On one of them, I use the holster when I need to; especially at work where I wear scrubs. On the second one, I cut off, and sanded down the holster knob with a dremel so its flat, and smooth. I use it as just a pouch/case when I wear normal pants, and put the phone in my front pocket.
