How to change baud rate for a printer?

How to change baud rate for a printer?

I have VoIP phone and I am trying to fax something and it wouldnt work so i called them and they said I have to change the baud rate to 9600. It is a USB printer and I looked everywhere but I cant find out how. Any help is appreciated. thanks

Assuming you are doing this though your computer, you would change the baud rate in the fax software. If you have an all-in-one printer/scanner/fax, it would be in the communications menu on the device. Every model is different, so knowing the model would help.

I don't see any setting for Baud rate for that fax model. The nearest thing I could find was ECM mode, which has some error correcting protocol that might help. That was in the Advanced Fax menu.

I don't know of much more to say other than maybe suggesting an E-fax service.
