And she can't remember what it is now. All I know is that it's a Dell and the help desk she's called is anything but help. They've told her something about a ridiculous fee she would have to pay.

I know Cntrl + F11 will reset factory specs, but it wipes out everything else too. Anyone have any other ideas or ways around this?

 

Trinity Rescue Kit! I've not used this to reset a password, but they say it works good for this.

now, if you have a program that has a username with password, is there anyway to delete passwords that are saved? I have one program that has 3 passwords saved and want to delete out the incorrect ones.

Can you delete the user from the program, then re-install that user account within the program?
