Help with RAZR

I have a Verizon RAZR V3c and so far I haven't been too impressed.

Does anyone know how to make the phone ring and vibrate at the same time? Also, can I somehow disable the outside buttons? My ringer is always turning off in my pocket. I know I can lock the keys but that is a pain.

I've had the V3c for about four days now and still can't figure out the ring/vib function... I honestly don't know if it has it...

Other than that, the phone is pretty ok...
Just got a data cord, downloaded MPT, hooked up my bluetooth headset and finally figured out the speakerphone, so I am satisfied thus far.

my friend has a v3c and no, you cannot make it ring and vibe at the same time

however, on gsm versions of the razr (cingular and tmo) you can

and also, you cannot disable the side buttons either.

basically, youre screwed! hah

You can't find the ring/vib function because Verizon took it out! There is good news though. If you are pretty good at modding your phone then you can put it back on. You just have to change a Seem or two.

I figured as much...
Unfortunately, I'm quite the seem editing n00b. MPT is kind of a pain in the ass for the V3c. Basically, if I could restore the vib/ring function and get rid of all the VZ branding on the screen (takes up about 1/4 of the screen) I'd be satisfied. I've been casually looking around over at hofo to find the solutions I'm looking for, but there is almost TOO much information there, if that's possible.
But the search will continue!

I did some research and found out that you guys can only get Vibe then ring and not Vibe and Ring with the Seem edits. See post #56 in this thread for a step by step explanation

No problem! Just make sure you read some of the other post's in that thread. Apparantly there is a side-effect for doing this. You'll end up getting a grey bar or something on the outside screen. Either way tread carefully!

There is a grey bar if you are on vibe anyway, so that is no big deal...
Is it just me, or is the vibe not very strong? I have missed many calls due to not feeling the vibe. (no pun intended)
