Hard Disk Boot Software

The amateur computer guy (me) just hosed me wife's PC by installing a new copy of the OS in the same partition as the old version. Where can I find s/w to boot the PC from a floppy or CD and re-format the drive... hopefully free?? My Valentine's weekend is in jeopardy

Neech's site will certainly take care of you. But just in case that goes away for some reason, you can always download boot floppies from Microsoft. Just go to the downloads section, select Windows XP (or whatever) for your product, and search on "startup disk."
