Google TV?
So I was about to buy a Tivo Premier (since my mom fell in love with my Tivo and I ended up giving it to her) but Google TV seems pretty cool. Best Buy is shipping them soon and from what I can tell, they appear to be $299. Anyone know anything else about it? It is a DVR but with a bunch of other features, correct? I know there has to be a monthly fee but I can't seem to find it, anyone know?

All the coolest features only work with Dish network right now. I'm interested to see how well it works when not paired with dish network cause I'm not switching to dish just for this...

haha thanks Whiskers. I did google it but there are so many conflicting views on it. Just went to Best Buy and it appears it is not a DVR and kind of like Apple TV so I bought a Tivo. I actually got $200 off by buying a small $149 LCD so I kind of got a TV for free. Now I have no idea what to do with it tho
