Thought I would bring this thread back. I just picked up a g1 about a month ago and I love everything about it (except the crappy battery life). Anyone else excited about the android cup cake update that is supposed to be pushed out next week?

 

I just switched from the iphone to the g1 and the g1 "just works" . Better than the iphone. Not to mention that my wife and I now spend 140 for bothe lines with unlimited everything. I was paying that for my iphone.

 

I freakin love my G1! The only gripe I have is that its bulky so I have to use a belt pouch and since I work in a assembly plant I cant hear it that often

 

Any specific applications you guys would recommend? I was thinking about rooting my phone but since the cup cake update is suppose to come out next week I will just hold off.
