Does anyone have a Chromebook? If so, which model do you have? Thoughts? Considering the Acer C720...
I was originally going to get a budget laptop around $250-300 or so to use downstairs at my house, as I have a full desktop upstairs. It's a desktop from 2008, but still seems to hold it's own. It was fairly expensive when I got it back then.
I started reading about Chromebooks, and they really intriqued me. I realized most of what I would use a laptop for (since I'm not a big laptop guy) would be for surfing, emailing, excels, and video streaming, which all seem very capable with a Chromebook.
Here's the one I've been eyeing hard for $200:
It's got over 1,500 reviews, and a majority are 5 stars...Let me know what you guys think...Does anyone have this one?

I thought you were going to get the Dell for $220? --> https://acurazine.com/forums/technology-16/budget-laptops-910344/
Why you would want to save $20-$40 to get a worse spec'ed Chromebook over a Win 8 laptop is beyond me.

I have last year's Samsung. I like it and use it every day(using it right now). I wish it were faster to render pages though. My wife likes it too because it's simple to use. Make sure that you understand all the things that can't be done with it before you buy.
It's main selling points to me were long battery life, no spinning hard disk, no fan, lightweight, keyboard is decent quality for price.
