Good price? 13" MacBook Pro, 2.26GHz C2D / 2GB RAM / 160GB HDD etc

Someone at work is looking to sell their 13" MacBook Pro. Asking $800, but might go lower.

It's very clean. No scratches or any visible marks.

Worth it?

Specs:

2.26GHz Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
160GB HDD
Nvidia GeForce 9400M
OS X 10.6.5

Says she has the box and everything that originally came with it. Got it in Summer of 2009.

Does it come with Applecare? If yes, then $800 is a good price IMHO.

So, what would you guys consider to be a good or fair price? $700? $600?

She wants to get rid of it so she can get a Win PC

For another $50 you can a faster machine with more storage and a 1 year warranty.

I wouldn't pay more than $700 for hers.

Why does she want to buy a Windows PC? You know...you can install Windows on Macs now *cough*Bootcamp*cough*.

In any case, $800 isn't a bad deal. Try offering $700

Most likely she wants a $400 Win laptop and $400 cash.

Someone offered her $500. She just laughed. Might try for $650.
