I went with GetGray http://calibrate.tv/ a while ago but was unable to use all of the features. I need to get my hands on a colorimeter.

The link I gave is actually for DLPs and Plasma and not for LCDs. I really shoudl have qualified that originally. Also, far from free :P

Cool... and you guys know that the inHD channel has a calibration program that runs Sunday mornings? They go through a bunch of patterns and tell you how to modify the settings for each pattern. It's basic but it's something :o

the only problem i have is that i don't have the tint control when my samsung 4051 is in dvd mode.

besides that i may not be doing something right for sd tv
