Free Email Programs for Windows ??

I don't like using web based e-mail programs for my main e-mail account.

So which one are you using Live, Mozilla, Opera, or ... ?

I prefer live mail. Also Mozilla just announced they're not developing thunderbird anymore.

Favorite Paid: Outlook 2010
Favorite Free: Live Mail

Both allow you to receive / send from all your accounts (like all clients basically allow).
Both work with Hotmail/Live mail natively (do not not pop3 workarounds).

Looks like I'll be sticking with Live after the fresh install. I used TB a few years ago and if failed on me was wondering if they had improved it, but looks like they are giving up on it.

One question about Live, where are the folders that store the contacts and e-mail database?
