Seriously, this is awesome. Or terrible, I guess, from a privacy standpoint.

Is requiring an open wireless network to make this app work less appealing?

I knew there was a reason to encrypt public WiFi networks! At work, our public "Internet access only" network still requires a WPA key, but we distribute it freely so that guests can get online. There was much debate over whether or not to even protect this network (it's on its own VLAN and ACLs are in place to prevent all but communication to the Internet), but I insisted that we should to deter the everyday "Joe Schmoe" from pulling up and using our Internet connection.

I never considered anything like this. I suppose we shouldn't care, as it's the users responsibility to protect themselves (and the devices connected to the public network aren't owned by our organization much less our employees...most are outside guests), but I suppose we can be the good guys and care a little.

you can downgrade Firefox as well. This will only work with XP on a native box, will NOT work with Win 7 with XP virtual mode.

It works on my OSX with Firefox.

I got 20 different logins within minutes. Gmail doesn't work as it will just take you to Google Search. Facebook and most other sites work.
