Experience with voice recognition software??
I'm thinking about getting voice recognition software for my pc, and I was wondering if anyone knows much about this or has any experience with it, good or bad. A friend of mine uses Via Voice and likes it pretty well. Any recommendations?

Where is my super sauce?
I used ViaVoice about a year or so ago and found the best feature was the money-back guarantee. It made way too many mistakes to be useful.
I've also used Dragon Personally Speaking and found that it worked, but I could type much faster then it could take dictation. I thought it was too slow for overall usefulness.

trying to get a lil V-I
I used to work for a company called [url=http://www.conversa.com]Conversa[/url located out in Redmond, WA. The CEO was a Scout leader of our troop from way back in the day.
I helped develop some of the games on their "fun" site. It's basically a browser plug-in that recognizes your voice and reads back to you text. It requires little to no pre-training for the software to recognize your voice.
The last I heard they were working w/ companies overseas to integrate their technology into cellular phones.
