Well I have had nextel for a long time now but now that the merger is done When you call my phone it now says "the Sprint customer you are a trying to reach" instead of nextel.. Now my main question is My Gf as well as a few friends of mine use sprint and have free sprint to sprint calling would it now not count agianst there mins to call me? I have the unlimited plan so really dont care about my mins but 80% of all mins used my my GF are calls to me..

 

You may want to call in to see how your plans have changed. But you both definitely have Sprint service. Sprint and Nextel are one company.

 

Well after calling and talking to customer service I found out that yes we are considered IN network for all sprint callers.. I just really hope Nextels customer service does not decline to the level of Sprints..

 

 

Nextel blows. I havent had more than 2-3 bars for the past month. Horrible service. Will be cancelling very soon and getting my early termination fee waived hopefully. They positively suck right now and the PTT is definitely not worth the cost I pay for 2 phones. I've been researching other services, but do not know which to choose.

 

in my area I have no problems with nextel at all... The reception is good in most places and most importantly it works in my house the only 2 phone companies that work in my house are Nextel and Sprint. I had sprint before but because I had to call once every month due to billing errors I canceled.. Moved to nextel about a year ago. Nextel customer service have been great no hold time and very helpfull..
