I guess this is the best section to ask this?

I replaced my cordless phone battery with a new one. Same rating. I noticed that if feels hot sitting on the charger.

I don't recall it being hot (warm) before. I know all battery charging feel warm, but this is warm enough for me to noticed.

I'm I just not remembering how it was, or perhaps there is something wrong with the battery.

I threw away the old battery so I can't compare on how it felt, fully charged.

The battery hold charge, work like new, etc.
