The CES Thread..
I think it's an Intel technology but you know no one takes all the development expenses by themselves. Wait it just realized I said Nvidia and Intel were partnering together on something, that's about as likely as the bloods and the crips getting together! I should've said Nokia not Nvidia, lo siento!

yeah I saw that, I could care less about transparent monitors. That shit would be way more annoying than glossy monitors. In OLED news Sony did have a 24.5 TV on display and of course it had 3D

The general consensus I've heard from people/blogs covering the show is that they mostly feel like us that they see this 3D thing as a gimmick and the idea of having to wear glasses to watch TV is ridiculous. I could handle it going to a movie every once in a while but everyday walking around with those headache-inducing things on? GTFO!
OLED. I like the transparent screen more so for possible applications outside of current use of computers/industrial design. Just imagine something like that for a store front or embedded into a windshield etc etc. Imagine a home with a gigantic glass wall that could also turn into the tv, you could get the best of both worlds.

I really hate being of the early adopter mentality.
