Budget 32" TV
Hey Guys,
It's holiday time, and I was thinking of treating myself to a 32" TV for my room. We have a nice TV downstairs (55" Samsung) although I still have an old tube TV in my bedroom. I was looking online on the all the deal sites, and have found quite a few in the $175-250 range, but unsure what I should be looking for. I'm not looking for anything groundbreaking, just a solid picture/sound for XBOX 360 gaming, as I haven't played on the tube tv since it doesn't look as nice...I'd also be doing NETFLIX streaming, as well as an occasional Blu-Ray.
I found this TV at Best Buy (easy to scoop up): http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insignia...&skuId=4550361
It seems like it would be perfect for my room, and the reviews look good. Does anyone have any information on the above TV, or personally own it? Does anyone know a site that has a review on it?
Thanks,
Brad

What you can look for is a LCD TV, not a LED TV, you can save some money and get a better TV.
I was able to grab a 40" Toshiba LED TV from amazon.com the day after Thanksgiving for $180. You need to look hard over the next week at stores trying to get rid of product before Christmas.

Check out Vizio, it's a cheaper brand sold at walmart, target, sam's, and it's made by Sony. I have a 34" led TV and love it.
And like jupiter said, get an LCD not an LED and you'll save some coin

I'd recommend plasmas, but I don't think they make them at 32" anymore. At that size you could also go for 720 instead of a 1080 set to save some money if you're not going to be right in front of it. I like Samsungs, but Vizio is really good bang for buck.

Nom Nom Nom Nom
I just got an insignia 60" and it is a pretty damn decent TV. It was significantly cheaper than most others that I was shopping for. Paid 467.00.. I would buy another one. Only thing I would suggest is look for something 1080.

Just saw on the Target ad, a 32" Samsung for $279 plus a $40 Target gift card.

Edit:
I have 2 LG TVs a 32LG30 with about 2.5K hours on it and an LC7D with about 3K hours on it. I did have to replace the capacitors on the LC7D's power board and it has been fine ever since.
Problem with going non name TV = no parts to fix even the simplest problems once the unit is out of warranty..
