as far as i know bluetooth devices need to be "paired" either to a headset/laptop etc. if the bluetooth phone has a feature that keep bluetooth active constantly, then anyone within the range of the bluetooth (example motorola 30feet), can access your phone wirelessly. Which allows them to access messages/phonebook and i know you can flash/flex phones using bluetooth. So it could defiantely happen.
