Blackberry 8703 vs whatever

Had my Blackberry 7130e for 2 years now through work. Verizon is telling them I can get a new 8703e for $50.

I don't like the brick style phones. My 7130e is nice and slim and with Suretype I don't mind typing on it.

Anyone have any experience with the Motorola Q? It has a camera, voice dialing and multimedia which the BB does not have.

Basically, I need suggestions on a new Verizon cell phone. Cost is not a deterrent.

Any experience with the Q or some other smart phone would be nice. Thanks.

I had the Q when it first came out. Never again. I have the 8703e and it works wonders. If you are happy with the way your BB is performing, I'd get the 8703e.

i have the Q and i like it a lot..on the other hand, i know other people that have had problems with theirs and had to return them for new ones. no problems with mine though.

running on windows mobile rather than palm os or any others so it's uncapabale of certain tasks, but i don't need to make spreadsheets on my phone, so it's all good. you can certainly always try it out for the 15 day trial, i think i'm going to do that soon when my contract is up..it can't hurt experimenting with a few phones.

If you are willing to switch carriers, Cingular has the blackjack and the BB 8800. Both look like winners to me.

I hated the 8800 with a passion. It was hard to type on and the keyboard in general sucked. I did love the size of it, but I can't sacrifice the ability to type quickly and efficiently.
