Battery Recommendations
Well I just got a new Canon a85 and it uses 4 AA batteries. I was told to get nickel metal hydride batteries but I am unsure which to get. I know my cousin had some that had a quick charge, thats what I am looking for. Could someone lead me to the right direction for long lasting fast charging batteries. thanks in advance.

You can order a bunch from www.thomasdistributing.com
I recommend a charger like http://www.thomasdistributing.com/mhc401fs.htm where batteries charge individually. With pairs, if one is fully charged, the other will keep charging while you burn out the other one.
There's not a tremendous difference in batteries. a higher mAH rating means a more powerful battery though.
Also note that the LCD is the biggest drain of batteries - if you constantly use the LCD, no battery will give you a very long battery life.
