backup Iphone contacts with Vista?

I know Itunes backsup my contacts, but I would like to have them somewhere else so I can browse them on my comp, and have an extra set somewhere in case something happens.

Any advice on how to do this?

got it, it automatically synched them to my contacts in Windows Messengar

i thought when you sync your phone with itunes it keeps a copy of them on your computer?

it does, but not in a format that is readable
