Just received my AOL Verizon DSL kit!! I still have to wait for the activation date for my phone line which is around early next month. Anyone have this service at home? If you do, is it fast as it claim to be?

I've had cable internet for close to 3 years now... I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I have AOL PLUS through SBC communications...
to sum it up: it sucks the big one.. HARD.

I used to have cable when I lived in LA, and it's SOOO much better than crap DSL.

 

i have SBC DSL through PacBell. I cannot for the life of me cancel my AOL. I've called them twice now...the second time i had to get nasty. they finally said they would be sending me a written confirmation of cancellation. I haven't gotten it yet and its been weeks. i'm afraid to login to aol just in case they say to me "well, you've been using aol services". one of the local newstations did a consumer help broadcast because one viewer couldnt cancel either...

my point? if you're going to get AO_hell be preapred to be married to them for a long time...fvcking arseholes...

 

OMG you gotta be kidding me. Of all the ISPs AOL is the worst. Except for PacBell, Verizon DSL is the worst. Duck and cover!!!!
