Anyone have cingular in tri-state area?

My contract with verizon expires in jan and although their service is great, their data plans suck. I was going to switch to sprint or cingular. Anyone have cingular and like it? I had T-Mobile a year ago and it was terrible so I am kind of leary of GSM providers. Thanks.

I've been in new york city and sorrounding areas with Cingular. Service was fine. It was roaming through T-Mobile tho (it is not charged anyways).

T-Mobile was basically useless for me. I fought with them for months to get out of the contract finally after i only used the phone 16 minutes one month since I never had service they let me out. Anyone else?

In DE here. No Problems. On their network for over 5 years now(previously Comcast).

1000 minutes for $39 isn't too shabby either.

I forgot to say that I was in PA - Philadelphia, King of Prussia, I-95 around NJ south to north, Trenton, Atlantic City, New York City, with my V400 under Cingular with no problems at all.
