Does anybody know how to increase ram on an android? particularly an optimus f6? Ive already rooted and partitioned. im just missing something to make it work like how i intend and i have no luck. Ive installed link2sd, supersu, ande other apps. when i go to link2sd and go to the apk links, the youtube vid i saw shows a link for 1mobile??? not sure what the full name was, but he clicks it and he links it manually to the sd card and thats the step i keep messing up on because i dont have it. help if anyone knows please?

 

RAM is hardware that's on the phone's motherboard. It can't be increased unfortunately. Are you trying to use the SD card as RAM? What do you need more RAM for?

 

Thanks for the reply bro. i already figured it out and did it. i rooted and partitioned my sd card and now my phone is running my sd card as its ram and virtual memory.

 

I was like WTF but googled it and apparently it's a thing. Curious why you didn't ask in the Android thread.

yea, it was a major mission for me but i FINALLY GOT IT! i legit have all the apps ive ever had on my androids and more! i even ran out of things to download. swear to god im about to download the useless apps like the lighter or beer mug. lol jk but anywho, i got it done and it works like a charm. all my apps even preinstalled ones from factory are movable to my sd
