I knew this $18 would be on this month's billing statement. So I will suck it and pay.

But really ATT, a long time customer renews his contract with a new phone and he gets another $18????


Accounting for labor, technology, systems, management, shareholder's profit, etc., the actual cost of activating a new SIM card is like 38 cents.

But that's o.k. I love rooming your stores for about 30 minutes with my jammer in my pocket. No phone calls at all.

 

i usually talk to them and if the rep is nice enough they take it off....I have been with ATT since 5 years now.....business customer FTW

 

 

It's half of what they charge new customers. Take the win?

 

That's their way of telling you who is in control of the relationship.
