1st day BLACKBERRY 8900
1st day BLACKBERRY 8900
i got it this morning, overall im very satisfied!
im coming from a blackberry bold (used it for 1 month then gave it to my brother in law). i like the way this phone looks much better than the bold. the disign is stylin. its a smaller phone so thats a plus compared to the bold. the keypad in my opinion is easier to use, and has a reasuring feel to it. (on the bold sometimes id have to double check to make sure the letter i hit showed up.) the track ball is black, meaning it wont look like shit after dirty fingers get their hands on it. i also like the way the number pad lights up red!
i think this phone is great for one hand use! (everything is within reach)
the only thing i can think of as to why people wouldnt wasnt it is because the lack of 3G. i have been browsing the web and i think its fast enough.
BTW, this is an unlocked BLACKBERRY 8900 JAVELIN/CURVE
IM USING IT WITH AT&t
i might have left somethings out. just ask

I just got out of a Curve (8310) and picked up the Bold...Not sure what happened, but I installed a whole bunch of apps into it and the phone got real screwy on me, kept freezing up, lotta fatal exception errors, etc...it wouldn't let me back up, so I ended up wiping the phone and starting over. I lose a few numbers I added after getting the Bold and a few days worth of txt messages and emails, but it was a few days literally, so no big deal. Did the wipe, restored from the curve and it seems to be working fine now. I reinstalled most of the programs that I had in the phone before getting the problems but not all of them. So far so good! Now i'm so used to the awesome display of the Bold, I can't look at the curve's display anymore without being disgusted at the lower quality resolution!
Why did you get rid of the Bold, anyway?
