Just an FYI, you're probably looking at less that $100 to cancel by now.

That would be sweet. I'll check tomorrow. I was a fan of ATT a long time ago but not anymore. Plus there is still a line to get on my parents family plan so I'm hoping to do that, which will save money. I think.

OK. So I am a newbie with these smartphones. When I download a PDF how do I get to it? I downloaded the manual for my Droid and now I can't find it?

I've been using my Eris now for about 2 weeks. I really like it. It's sometimes a pita with the touch screen and my big thumbs but I can deal with it. I also need to work on extending the battery life.

Found one thing I don't like about the Droid Eris. The Bluetooth volume is not loud enough. It's a bit week when I'm driving. It's not bad if I'm just at my desk, but the road noise makes it difficult to hear everything.

http://www.androidcentral.com/downlo...-swype-android

Doesn't work on Eris yet.

Takes some getting used to, but when it works, it works better then the old keyboard and Iphone.

Figured out the wireless issue. If bluetooth is on, the wireless breaks (speed goes to nothing), I don't need bluetooth now, but Im going to call Verizon and Moto to tell them.

With my issue basically fixed and swype working, I really like the phone now. I put on the FIOS DVR program on it and TV.com and love them.

Still really liking the droid after a couple months. Battery life is good, camera is somewhat better after software update, the reception is the best I have ever had on a phone, and the other day I was using it for GPS, when I got to where I was going a picture of the place popped up. Google street view FTW.

First post from the Droid. Digging it. The display is great. Huge improvement over my moto q9c. I like the virtual keyboard in landscape mode.

Still some issues, such as getting a PDF or Wav file to play from e-mails....

However, some good torrents out there

Android can't open .eml files as an attachment if someone forwards you another email conversation.

This thing is awesome! Just got it in the mail this morning, my dog started barking, so I bolted up stairs in order to avoid having to wait another day for delivery and greeted the mailman in nothing but boxers and bed head, he looked pretty surprised... oh well, I got my Eris and that's what matters.

So far, I'm very please with this phone. The touch screen keyboard isn't half as bad as I thought it would, I still definitely need to find a good working swipe program for the keys though.

Already got a few cool apps. There is one called "Alice" it imports your artists from your Last.FM account and will send you notifications when your favorite artists are touring close to your area, it is pretty darn neat.

This is a topic of much discussion, the email client in general blows.

If willing to pay, Touchdown solves most of the problems.

Yeah, and it also allows peak time schedules. I miss that feature as well.
