not trying to advertise for microsoft here!
came across this link from a computer site i visit and thought you guys might be able to take advantage of this freebie offer since i'm pretty sure most of you use windows XP too save the trouble of downloading all the patches. only thing is you've to wait a few weeks for it to come.

Problem is, even Microsoft is advising that there are MANY bugs with SP2. They've even released a registry patch which prevents SP2 from installing.

It blows up some software (even some Microsoft software!) and doesn't get along too well with some others, despite what they say.

I'd wait. Let everyone else be the beta testers.
