What is that thing on the field around the 50 yard line? It's white with 4 yellow things shooting up. I think it has something to do with the Pats and four Super Bowl appearances. I'm I right?

It's apparently a bridge and lighthouse, and is the Gillette Stadium logo.

What bridge and lighthouse, I dunno.

They are trying to give the stadium a very "New Englandy? feel"...notice the lighthouse, the grass dunes at one end etc...

^^ its definitely one of the best facilities in the league....Kraft (the owner) wanted everything to be perfect and didn't mind spending the money at all.

^^ Yeah it looks real nice. We have Fedex Field, which is good. But it was built by Jack Kent Cooke who was dying and wanted the Stadium done before he died. They took the plans from Giant Stadium and cleaned them up a little bit.

I wish Snyder could have built his own stadium, then it might be on par with Gillette.
