Tebow: The Movie?

Tebow: The Movie?
Our Michael Lombardi wrote today that Hollywood couldn't script the Tim Tebow story any better. I'm sure Matt Stone and Trey Parker already are working on the treatment. But before that happens, allow me to offer my suggestions for who should be cast in the various roles.
First, the supporting cast:
Omar Epps as Mike Tomlin
Will Ferrell as Ben Roethlisberger
Daniel Cosgrove as Brady Quinn
Keanu Reeves as Kyle Orton
Jake M. Johnson as Dave Dameshek
Atticus Shaffer as "The kid Tebow Promised to Throw Two Touchdowns for"
Chris D'Elia as Jesus

They won't get past the 49er's.
Overrated ??? Seems that phrase was said about Alex Smith ... just look at his record until he got a coach that knows how to coach him. Still not a good one, but the team is winning for him.

He's overrated because everyone is on his dick and doesnt see that it's a team sport and it simply wasn't his presence that got them to where they are today.
When they were coming out in overtime and winning by a field goal, everyone praised him. I didn't watch the games, but Im pretty sure he wasn't the one kicking the ball.

I am a Niners fan and all I have to say is I am impressed with Tebow's ability to pull wins out of ass in crunch time.
oh, and Will Ferrell as Ben Roethlisberger

I agree that these wins are team accomplishments but one of the reasons quarterbacks in general get most of the praise if the team wins and most of the aggravation if they lose because it's their job (mostly on the field)to lead and inspire their team to win.
You can have a prototype quarterback but if nobody believes in him or follows him then the team won't win.
I played football and some quarterbacks may have physical skills to throw or run but no leadership skills and some have great leadership skills and no quarterback skills. Then you have someone like Tebow who has great leadership skills and a quarterback skills but just not up to NFL prototype quarterback standards.
Tebow took an 0-4 team when he took over to the playoffs and upset a team that was supposed to make it back to the Super Bowl something that they guy he replaced couldn't do.
I think that some of this coverage is over the top but I do respect Tebow for doing something that a lot of quarterbacks with more overall quarterback skills couldn't do.
