This guys retarded. The reason they stopped the clock the first time is cause they wanted to check if it was a first down but mike carey (the ref) decided that they didn't need to bring the chains out to measure but since that decision process to unnecessary time they put the estimated time it took for them to come to their decision back on the clock which was 6 seconds.
Coughlin touches the ref! OMG this guy is such a sore loser!! WOW that's sad!! I don't that rule is enforced that strictly!! Jesus Christ what a baby! I'm sure if you really wanted to you could find video tape of a Patriot player or coach touching the ref and they didn't get a penalty or fined!! This guy's a douche bag!
This guy does a bad job at showing evidence you can't see the game clock or the stupid timer he uses at all you just have to believe what he says which I'm not going to do.

Meh, the conspiracy theorist in me says if that's the case, karma is a bitch. The Pats cheated with video taping and were sore winners in running up the score this year.

When you catch a football on/with your head you're destined for something great. If it is a conspiracy, it must be karma coming to collect after that they pulled on the Raiders in the Super Bowl a few years ago. I'm not a Raider fan but I felt bad for them.

^^^UGHHHHH i remember that i was all about the raiders that year haha as i was an avid jerry rice/tim brown fan (gotta love oldies that still played great) that wasnt the superbowl as both teams are AFC teams... i believe it was the divisional title... and how can anyone even accuse a conspiracy in that game. i thought the referees actually did a good job (no its not just because im a giants fan haha)

I remember watching that 4th down play and thinking why the clock didn't start again and also noticed the 6 seconds they put back on the clock and was kinda confused too. I didn't think it really mattered at the time, because the giants had plenty of timeouts if they needed them, and probably didn't determine the outcome of the game.

And with running up the score, it's the offenses job to score points, and it's the defenses job to stop them.
And the patriots couldn't control all of the retarded tom brady stories ESPN ran.
They just plain and simple lost the game. No conspiracy theory, just no offensive line to match the Giants defensive front and LB's.

You made some good points but i still believe that the Norse Gods of Football got their revenge upon the Pats and their bad sportsmanship.

The Patriots did the opposite. They are up a tonne of points and STILL go for it on 4th and 1...? No way. They were absolutely running up the score and being complete @$$es about it. Sure, it's a pro sport...suck it up, blah blah blah. Still, there is an unwritten rule of sportsmanship here. Simple.
If there was no true sportsmanship, I suppose there is really no point for coaches and opposing players to shake hands afterwards, right? Nah. Who needs that.
Karma is a bitch. Patriots lost a winnable game to a team who had a QB that stunk most of the season. Sure, Eli has ability but the way he rose up...? To me, he is NY's version of Rex Grossman. I consider it karma the Pats lost...

come on man, just take it back... please.
don't compare a super bowl mvp with a super bowl loser.
though eli manning has received many of the same criticisms as rex grossman, eli has accomplished the same feat in which his brother peyton has in half the time. granted eli may not have the the accolades peyton has earned over his career, but eli has achieved every quarterback's main objective and that says a lot. dont you think the likes of people like dan marino would trade all of their records for a super bowl victory? just because eli isnt as flashy as the star qb's of today... doesnt mean he doesnt have dead on accuracy as well as tremendous arm strength to boot.
granted, his carelessness with the football (wayyyy too many fumbles) and insecurity in the pocket are his main downfalls, but we have seen both of those factors show improvement.
yes, i am a huge giants fan (no pun intended) so there is some bias to my opinions... but come on give the man credit.
ps i am a knicks fan as well and can agree they suck ass and need huge changes (COUGH COUGH ISAIAH NEEDS TO GO) so im not blind to my teams flaws haha.
ps sorry to turn i little sentence into a huge rant yumchah

Dood where have you been? It's Yummy.. He said the same thing about Big Ben when the Steelers won the SB. Now about his manlove Romo. Philip Rivers. Carson Palmer. Who hasn't he said is the worst ever and will never be a good QB? I don't think there's a young QB he hasn't said sucks and blah blah blah..
Just ignore him like I do..
