Being a Mets fan since the early 80s, the Gary Carter era is still my favorite. He was a Godly man with a great testimony, not to mention a class act. It's very comforting to know that he is with the Lord now.

I'll miss "The Kid." He is probably the #1 resin that I won't wear batting gloves when I hit. I heard him speak at a coaches clinic a few years back... What a knowledgeable guy with tons of baseball knowledge...

When I think about all the guys on the '86 Mets, I just can't believe that he was the one to go...
