I think what he's trying to say is good teams build their teams through the draft not signing big name players. Hence the Pittsburgh Steelers. When's the last time you heard them signing anybody besides back up's due to injury! All they do is cut people and give other teams their sloppy seconds. Randle El.... LOL!!!!!

Yeah I saw that but you shitted on him earlier in this thread. LOL! I'll give them credit for making the pick up but I think it should've happened earlier so that they would've had a chance at something better. I think like 2 or 3 slipped through the cracks.

I was just a little pissed that he signed with Buffalo two yrs ago instead of staying with the Redskins. He's one of the better lineman out there, he did a pretty good job with the Redskins when he was here.

I'm going to say it again, a few years ago Danny boy realized that just signing big names isn't going to get him anywhere. The signing of Haynesworth wasn't just signing some big name player that nobody else wanted, six teams were trying to sign this guy, more would have tried to if they had a chance.

Sounds like the path to success to me. They've been doin it for 40 years and they have the most rings out of anybody else. Everybody should take a page from their book. I sure wish my 9'ers could right now!

I know what you mean, but Lloyd was a trade and the others were years ago. Haynesworth is the only one they have signed in 3 yrs as a FA for big money. I guess we could also have a team like the Cardinals and Bengals where the team just kept the money for the owners and not put it out on players.
I know the Cardinals were in the SuperBowl, but that really was a fluke. They have a chance to really try it again this year and they're penny pinching to sign Warner and extend a deal to keep Boldin in AZ and his mouth shut. Synder would have done it already.

Wish I had a problem like this

Yeap, apparently football is not Jason's first priority. He wouldn't agree to the off season workouts part of his contract.

^ Yeah they have it on espn's website. It's called salary cruncher, you can put in one of the latest big signings in the sports world and it breaks down their salary and also tells you how long you have to work in order to reach how much they're making.

If you really know something about football, this 100 million is ONLY on paper.

Burning Brakes
He got indicted and might go to prison for a short time. So looks like he won't be playing for a few weeks since he'll be suspended by the commissioner.
