The Raiders will not be winners again until Al Davis dies. He wouldn't let Lane Kiffin fire the crappy defensive coordinator, the one who's defense gave up 41 points.
By the way, not a Raider fan, just an observer.

I'm back! First post in a while/
Yesterday's performance wasn't to bad. The defense held up well. They let McFadden do his thing and he proved his talents. Dude's pretty darn fast...I don't know how he got caught from behind like that on that long run. Amazing how much faster the game gets in the NFL, he just didn't look as fast as he did in college but it's not him...just moving to the big league. I know they were playing a not so good Chiefs team but hey it's a W and that's what matters. On to the Bills next.
I won't even go into Jamarcus' 55 yard game. Pathetic. He's still a "rookie" but even other first year guys like Rodgers and Cassel are, despite having better receivers, are doing much better. I think he's still got alot of polishing up to do. I'll give him a couple of more years for him to get it straight. Gotta see how this 66 mil investment pans out.
In a way as bad as it sounds, kind of nice to see Fargas out so we could really see McFadden work. He may have not had those runs with Fargas sharing the backfield. It's great to pound the D with 2 or 3 RBs but I also like to see the good guys get 25-40 carries a game. I love good stats. But they'll do what it takes to win and if that means 2 RBs all game, that's what they'll do. But sometimes it's best to let 1 guy get alot of carries and get into his rhythm. Both have there pros and cons.
All in all can't get to technical with this win. It's a friggin win for Oakland! Wow!

OAKLAND, Calif. -- For three quarters, the Oakland Raiders stopped LaDainian Tomlinson and appeared poised to stop a long losing streak to the San Diego Chargers.
Then Tomlinson got loose, the Chargers pressured JaMarcus Russell and the longest winning streak any team has held against the Raiders grew to 10 games.
