Thriller in AZ... Couldn't believe we played well all night on D and we let them march 99 yards to almost score. GB's red zone offense needs some help this year. We can't put the ball in the endzone. Couple questionable calls/no calls but thats the game. Cards definitely had the refs on their side though. How does that TD get overturned? What evidence did they see that we didn't?

Go Pack Go!

I do - it's how a Fantasy Football season dies.

I had Murray, Hopkins, Tonyan (desperation play because of injuries) and Praeter. They scored 22 pts total in a PPR league.

On to week 9.
On to week 9.......

Every undefeated team usually benefits from a wakeup call though. And this should serve as one. Murray had a horrible, horrible day.

That's impressive. Your week was killed by one game

I've never actually lost (for all practical purposes) on a Thursday before. My opponent has Derek Henry. I think Henry might outscore my entire roster at this rate.

Against all odds I won. He had Ryan at QB, Henry and Swift at RB, Jeffries and Chase at WR, and I actually pulled out the win. Unreal. I had 1% chance to win after Thursday.

Yeah that's super interesting - LA Defense is no joke. They smell Superbowl, and they still have to play ARI again and they've already lost once. But the rest of their schedule looks pretty favorable - short of say the Ravens and Packers.

Rams are now trying to be the LeRams...trade for everyone.

Too bad that the Cheater in Florida already has most.

Speaking of the Cheater, he prolly rage-crying right now that he lost to an unknown QB yesterday and had no one but his lack of cheating to blame for the pick 6.

Bears D, once vaunted, has now choked up any chance for victories. Been 3 straight games where Bears score to either take the lead or come close and on ensuing opponent drive, the D gives up a TD.

Sure, no Mack and Jackson in the secondary but man, so many problems in Chicago.

Fields did look decent yesterday. His TD run was WTF-awesome...

Not having those two definitely hurt your defense. Those two Jimmy runs had me hyped

Still think Fields will be great. O-line needs serious investment this off-season though, or he will become shellshocked

Yeah, Jimmy G was not sacked once all game...so, there shows the difference.

But, without Nagy, Bears showed an element in playcalling that has been lacking all year...some screens, some playaction...bootlegs...It was a thing to see a HALF-working offense instead of a complete trainwreck.

That's a criticism I've seen thrown around too, and by retired Bears great, at that. Watched a segment of Olin Kreutz, Lance Briggs, and Alex Brown shredding Nagy and the way the team was constructed.

Does Nagy get canned after this year?

Who knows. But, Nagy and Pace are both at fault here. The former plays who he's given...latter signs and drafts the players.

Given who Nagy has, he has to stop freaking trying to recreate the KC offense that worked last year and before. Not with Chicago's personnel...the number of drop backs and waiting for a receiver to get open is just idiotic. They have a decent run game...use that. I mean, how hard can this be? I don't need that many wins but at least be competitive???

What happened to the once nightly KC Chefs? They used to beat up teams by double digits, tonight they shrugged vs NYG at home, only winning by a field goal

Their defense is bad. Teams are easily figuring out how to beat them.
Mahomes is making poor decisions trying to make something out of nothing.

So far this year Mahomes has looked like . Honestly, I always thought all the hype around his was excessive. I wonder what KC is thinking of that contract if this continues...

^ Saw that just now. Yikes is right. I just don't get it - these guys are sitting on lottery tickets and all they have to do is just stay away from certain activities. And they throw it all away like that. Not to mention whoever the victim was.

Gotta let the division catch up anyway. Local station mentioned "division" and "clinched" already a possibility soon. Way to jynx it!
