The big names who went down with injuries in Week 8 - NFL
Also Kendall Wright, sprained MCL.....not that he is a "big name" but he was on my team.
Keenan Allen, back spasms...
Le'Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers: Earlier this week, Mike Sando of ESPN Insider ranked Bell as the No. 1 running back in the NFL, so losing Bell would be significant for the Steelers, who just got QB Ben Roethlisberger back from a knee injury. Bell was carted to the locker room after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter. He had gained at least 88 yards from scrimmage in his five full games played so far this season.
Steve Smith Sr., WR, Baltimore Ravens: Smith had five catches and 82 yards against the Chargers when he went to the ground awkwardly, clutching his Achilles. After the game, coach John Harbaugh confirmed fears that Smith had torn his Achilles. The 36-year-old has been adamant that this would be his final season in the NFL, so he might have played his last game on the same day he surpassed Cris Carter for 10th overall on the all-time receiving yards list.
Cameron Wake, OLB, Miami Dolphins: Wake went down with a season-ending Achilles injury on Thursday night, just when he was starting to dominate. He had seven sacks from Weeks 6-8. The Dolphins will have a tough time replacing his presence, as he accounted for one-third of the team's sack total this season.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, New York Jets: Fitzpatrick left the game on the Jets' first drive after hurting his hand on a scramble. He entered the week ranked fourth overall in Total QBR. Fitzpatrick's ability to limit negative plays (7 INTs and four sacks through Week 7) is a huge reason for the Jets' 4-2 start to the season.
Matt Forte, RB, Chicago Bears: Forte walked to the locker room under his own power midway through the third quarter, but the Bears still ruled him out for the game with a knee injury. The dual-threat RB was averaging more than 24 touches per game through Week 7, so the Bears will have to significantly alter their game plan if he misses significant time.
Reggie Bush, RB, San Francisco 49ers: Bush served as the 49ers' starting running back on Sunday, with Carlos Hyde missing time with a foot injury. But Bush didn't last long, as he suffered a knee injury after slipping on some exposed concrete behind the 49ers' bench on a kick return. The veteran has already missed the better part of four games so far this season with a nagging calf ailment.
Joe Haden and Donte Whitner, DBs, Cleveland Browns: Haden and Whitner both left the Browns' game with concussions suffered on back-to-back plays. Neither returned to the game, as Cleveland surrendered 34 points in a loss to the Cardinals. With the Browns playing on a short week, it's unlikely either will suit up against the Bengals on Thursday night, according to ESPN NFL Nation reporter Pat McManamon.

With our league scoring, Eli went for 52 points and Brees 64.5.
As a reference 120-130 total team points is pretty competitive to win any given Sunday.
Although the guy with Brees lost, and the one with Eli is a risk to lose depending on tonight.

Vernon Davis to the Broncos.

Fuck, Niners do you not see who the real issue is? it's that garbage ass QB you have. You know the one everyone thought was going to be ol' so good.
Thing is, the Niners aren't going to get anyone good out of it....

They had a coach that had them in the playoffs, NFC Championship game and Super Bowl....., and they ran him out of town. Because they let the players dictate who they wanted.. More than just a QB problem.

Every time Ted Ginn Jr drops an easy pass like he did at the end of the MNF game I'm reminded of this Miami fans video.

If Dallas loses to my Eagles they are done. So then it's just a 2-horse race for the playoff spot.
I really hope the Eagles tank and we can look for a real QB in the offseason. The Bradford experiment has gone horribly wrong.

If it makes him feel better the way the NFC East teams are playing this season none of us deserve to make the playoffs.

Randle cut from Cowboys
First he was a crybaby when he got injured and left the practice facility when he heard McFadden was starting.
Good riddance. Now we will hear reports of him shoplifting more underwear and who knows what.

I did not. I replaced Bell with Pierre Thomas and then Nate Washington and Allen with Dwayne Harris. I went from Bell, A Foster, D Murray, and Charc West to D Murray, Blue, and Crowell. West and Blue are on a BYE.

I pissed my league off this week.
I had Bell, but Deangelo on bench as handcuff since week 1. Check.
I grabbed Langford Sunday morning because he was a good pickup if Forte got traded. Check.
Have Stevie Johnson and Woodhead who benefit from one less receiver.
Got Pierre Thomas off waivers because I'm a RB hording bastard.
So RB and 3 flex starts D. Williams, D. Martin, D. Murray, and J. Langford. You'd think I'd be killing it, but......

@ Rex Ryan
I think he easily is the toughest head coach. Including assistants someone said Mike Vrabel, Bryan Cox (too old IMO), anyone else?
Ryan joked that the muscle-bound Campbell is one of few coaches that he couldn’t “whip” in a fight, adding: “He’s a big dude. I’m 52 years old, I’d like to see 53, so I think I’ll avoid that one.”
