Thanks to the strong showing from Romo and Murray and a little Christmas bonus from Asiata and the weekly gift that is L. Bell, I'm playing for our league championship! I didn't think I'd get there with a 7-6 season record. Just knocked off the 1st seed however. I feel pretty decent about next week - most of my key players are on teams that need to keep winning (Cowboys, Steelers form the heart of it) or have some good matchups (Bal vs. Hou, Min vs. Mia).

Going to have to stream in someone at WR though - have to figure that one out.

I pussied out and went with Rivers over Romo since Denver games had been shootouts and Philly owned Romo in Dallas. Cost me 10 points

If you've been following the team since at least week 2 of this season, this would have been no surprise. With each passing week I become more certain that Harbaugh will be gone. Rumors swirl that a point of contention is management wants the OC out, but Harbaugh doesn't want to kick him to the curb.

I don't care what people think about Harbaugh, he's possibly the 2nd best coach the 49ers have ever had.

Though if need be, supposedly Holmgren is aching to be back on an NFL field. That would be a nice way to stick it to the Hawks

Nah, that requires nearly winning rings and then leaving via an ESPN hour long atrocity.

The announcers for the game on Sunday were talking about Harbaugh as if he were already gone. I don't think he's a bad coach, but for whatever reason he seems to be a bad fit. Handwriting seems to be very permanently on the wall now.

I don't think anyone is Seattle will give much thought to Holmgren coaching the 9ers. This is Carroll's team now. You want to stick it to the Hawks, sign Marshawn.

the dude that sacked Manziel got a flag for making that gesture Why? What about JJW? He's the worst (or best) at that when he sacks a QB, and I don't see him getting penalized

Oh noes!

Murray had surgery on his hand. I heard it was on his the hand he mainly does not carry the ball with. I heard that Emmitt had the same injury, 1 week rest, then ran for 100+ yards. I also heard avg time to recover is 2.8 days. Will the Cowboys play him? They NEED to win. So do I!!

You have to be kidding me. Really? At least I have Joseph Randle to plug in just in case. But for the championship week.....

I also have R. Jennings who re-injured his ankle and is a no-go. Fuck.

That leaves me with Anderson and Miller. I will try to pick up Randle or FJax and drop Jennings.

Hunh. My Hawks fan friend is pretty upset at the idea of Holmgren coming to SF. He did take them to the SB after all, and had great years coaching there. The Seahawks got cheated in the SB against the Steelers

Doubtful considering how the other teams in the west have been doing, but the idea of Harbaugh leaving and going to an NFC West rival, bothers me a lot.

The rumors that have been present since the middle of the offseason have persisted. Everyone thought to brush them off, but perhaps there is truth to all that.

Oh there's no denying Holmgren is a favorite here. Didn't mean to imply that. For me, I'd wish him great success, except for 2 regular season games and the playoffs.

As for Harbaugh, I was taken back by how certain the announcers were of his fate. At one point one of them said, "You might as well trade him and get something for him." They don't know anything really, but it seemed to come up often.

Problem with that is they will probably split the load between Randle and Dunbar. Ugh.

From what I'm reading, Randle will probably get a higher percentage of touches, but it might not be the quantity DeMarco would get.

I almost wish DeMarco would be fully out. The really bad situation is if he suits up but his injury puts a question mark on his involvement. Would make who to start a real roll of the dice. Going to have to watch the news this week closely.

Cutler is .

The only way his stats aren't worse is because of his garbage time TD's and completions when his team is already down double digits and the other team stops trying hard.

BTW, beating the Bears is not an accomplishment, yes? If the Saints fielded no offense all night, the Bears still would've found a way to screw up and had a turnover that allowed the Saints D to score.

Nah, stilll won. Bears are a bum.

We lost a lot of games this year but if we manage to win our division, we still have Drew Brees at home. Dome Saints on the road in 40 degree weather..
I'll take it

Was winning into the 2 minute warning. Then garbage time TD by Ingram. Thanks for doing zilch most of this season my last 1st rounder Jimmy Graham. I swear I always get the beast TE's who suck ass the year I have them like Tony Gonzalez on his down years. My starting RB's might be Fred Jackson, Jonathan Stewart, and Randle if I get him off waivers since Murray is out. I can't tell you how many injuries I sustained this year.

Is Murray out? ESPN still shows him as doubtful, with all this noise about maybe because it's his left hand he could play, etc. Anyone see anything definitive?

Stuff flying everywhere. Most have him as game time decision.

But most recently I heard he should be expected to play, and take the majority of the snaps like a regular game.

I'm sure this will play out allllll week though.

I picked up Joe Randle just in case. At this rate either Murray will play a shitty game or Dunbar will get the work.

Na I hope Murray plays lights out. I tried to pick up Randle but the guy I'm playing in the championship had a higher waiver and picked him up so I couldn't get him. Picked up FJax instead.
