Seahawks win a game that was much closer than it should have been. It's just another week where "I'll take it" but all the injuries are really making it difficult to be too optimistic.
So after NYG next week we get KC, ARI x2, SF x2, PHI, and STL.
And STL has a 2-1 division record. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

I shoot people
I'm predicting this year's SB will be either Denver or NE vs Cardinals

Sure...valid. Injuries on D and inept playcalling does not excuse the stupidity on offense though.
I used to be a Cutler "apologist" because I wanted to see what actual pass-protection can do for him. Well, he has it now more than ever as a Bear and he's still making idiot throws not seen since Romo threw a game-finishing INT.

Bears replaced Lovie Smith with a coach known to be QB-friendly and running a system catered to Cutler's abilities...there is only so much that has to give.
The defensive issues are staggering...vulnerability to the run and a patch-work LB corp and secondary is going to give any good QB a field day against Chicago.
I usually am not this snarky about the Bears but I've seen enough of the games this season to know that it is yet another wasted year and another year missing the playoffs...

Yep... I was optimistic. I said it last season, and then in the SB game against the Ravens too. G-Ro needs to GTFO.
Stop getting cute with the playcalls. So what if they expect Gore up the middle... it works more often than not even when they see it coming. Roman seems to be Harbaugh's boy though, so dunno how it'll turn out.
With the Cardinals at 7-1 and they've been playing with a backup QB for 3 of those games. WTF?

I am happy with the depth on defense. But even with the starters coming back, that won't fix what's going on with our offense. It goes back to the o-line, even before our starting center went down. I don't know if it's the o-line coaching, or maybe Kap needs to make better pre-snap adjustments... these last two games were awful.
I genuinely thought, with as little homerism as possible that the 49ers were contenders. lol. 2 weeks of preparation and we score 10 points even with 2-3 takeaways.

Pretty safe bet that they're both gone at years end. Way to much smoke surouding Harbaugh to think he'll be back next season. Not sure how I feel about that but I think it's a done deal. But yes, my god Roman is terrible. The last time I can remember offensive play calling this bad was when Yummys boy Trestman was the co-ordinator in San Fran.
And Kap looks so lost out there. With so many weapons on offence, it's inexcusable.

It's my fault about Kap. He's my 2nd QB in my 2 QB league. And Vernon is my TE. Davis is useless this year because of injury.
Trestman I remember in the late 90's was already revered as an awesome OC and QB's coach. I think it was kind of political why he couldn't get a HC job and was excited for the Bears because Hank Goldberg (ESPN NFL guy and former local radio host) loved him.

Week 10 speculation time! Who is in your final four based on what we've seen so far?
AFC has a lot of contenders right now, but I'm leaning towards a New England / Pittsburgh. Both of those teams seem very dialed in right now. Denver, as much as I'd like to see Manning go out on top, just seems to be very beatable in big games. I like Indy too, but same comment.
The NFC is going to be really hard to predict. Have to give the nod to Arizona at the moment for one spot. But the second spot - you could literally roll the dice between any one of six teams (PHI or DAL, but the QB situations derail them quickly, Detroit, Green Bay, New Orleans is always dangerous if they get on track, Seattle is in the long-shot category the way they are looking recently, but you never know).
Probably comes down to who is healthy and who can make the run....

I have no idea what to make of the NFC at this point. I still don't trust Arizona, I keep waiting for them to fall flat. I would have said the Eagles before Foles got hurt, but I don't trust Sanchez. I couldn't seriously say the Cowboys, even if he plays, he's still Tony Romo in the playoffs. I guess for right now I agree on Arizona.

Nice. I am 9-0 as well, barely escaped though. Now I'm looking to maybe change out 1 RB and WR for the playoffs, still unsure yet who.
I hope Romo is good to play because goddammmm Weeden fucking sucks, if you're a Cowboys fan. What other QBs are available if Romo can't play?
