Because it's "America's team". It's simple, you're either for the Cowboys or against America.

My father was classmates with Roger Staubach at the Naval Academy, Heisman trophy winner and Cowboys demigod.

I was a Dallas fan before I was potty trained

Born and raised in Texas. Been a Cowboys fan since I was in diapers and Staubach was still playing. Just because I live in a different state now doesn't mean I should drop everything and root for the Redskins (or the Dolphins when I lived in Florida, Seahawks when I lived in Seattle, etc...)

Washington Post reporting that the Skins are actively trying to trade Haynesworth before the draft. That's awesome. I'd take as little as a 7th round pick for that piece of shit cunt. Once again, God has decided to bless us with a waste of space that would be better served as storage for dog food.

Come to think of it, the existence of Albert Haynesworth proves there is no God.

And no, I hate the Cowboys. I am a 49ers fan, I was groomed to be one since before I even learned how to walk.

Other anomalies I've noticed though is that I know people who live in the Bay Area who are Packers, Falcons, and Cowboys fans

I'd love to see Haynesworth in a Fish uni. But he's a 4-3 guy and we run 3-4.

I gotta say I'd be worried if I were another AFC East team. Is Kris Jenkins still on the Jets? He's returning this upcoming season right? And Sanchez can only improve.

Yes. we will have Jenkins and Leon Washington back this season along with the addition of LT and Cromartie from the Chargers. thomas jones was great to us but i feel LT will be able to teach Leon and Shonn Greene the art of making defenders look noobish. i have fully faith in mark 'the diry' sanchez and I'm telling you we're gonna be filthy in 2010!

Why did the Steelers do this? And why to an AFC team? I'm almost positive now that the talking heads at ESPN will say the Jets are better than the Colts. Why the fuck couldn't the Dolphins get this #1 receiver for a 5th?

Definitely not sure about this trade, of course he will be suspended 4 games, possibly a whole season, so at least he's off the payroll

Well... I still take issue with whether Holmes is truly a #1. I guess we'll find out. Either way, with Parcells pulling the strings, I don't see them going after a guy with such high-profile character issues.

So let's see, the Jets will have Sanchize @ QB, LT, Shonn Greene and Leon Washington @ RB, Santonio & Braylon @ WR, Keller @ TE, Revis @ Cromartie & CB, Scott & Harris (et al) @ LB..... damn I guess they are pretty loaded. I still think their receivers are the weak link, though. Braylon has got a chronic case of the dropsies and Santonio... well he's just got the chronic. But yeah, still a big improvement over last year. Why does our division have to be so damn tough?! Can't we move the Fish to the NFC West or something?

So... we need the Pats to play the Chiefs again in Week 1? And then the Jets vs KC in Week 2??

Fins to get Brandon Marshall for 2nd rounder this year and 2nd next year

http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/04/1...-to-trade.html

Hopefully like the Moss trade where we get a top WR for a 2nd rounder.

^damn, was just about to post that. You lucky bastards

IMO the Fins got a pretty good deal. They now have a playmaker at receiver and they still have a 1st round pick in this draft

Wow... I dunno whether to go or

So much for Parcells not going after WRs with questionable character, though.

Yeah and hopefully it works out more like Moss-to-the-Pats than Moss-to-the-Raiders, or TO-to-anywhere.

The guy in my avatar now has himself a nice, big fat target. Let's hope he stays on the field.

Two 2nd round picks in 2 different draft years for a 26-year old receiver that has 3 consecutive 100 catch/1,000 yard seasons.... IMO that's not giving away much. While he does have off the field issues, he's not a cancer like T.O. was and probably won't affect team chemistry with his bullshit.

Actually, don't remind me of T.O. What a waste.... I can't blame him for wanting to jump ship way back then but he could have done it with more humility. But I guess that's too much to ask of someone who's got their head up their ass.

Parcells is the kinda guy who can set a guy straight so the Fins and Marshall will prob both benefit from this. Nice pickup Fins

if the draft goes well dare i say, Dolphins in the playoffs this year?

Dunno..... which Chad will man the helm and lead the team successfully? And as you can see the Jets are now pretty stacked. Not sure how close they are to the cap, but Darren Sharper is a FA I think. I think that would pretty much seal the deal, as long as Mark Sanchez improves even just a little bit and their new RB tandem works out.
