I keep waiting for the Cowboys to find a way to lose. Do I dare hope they can pull it off?

Well they won the game, I knew this would be the one the N.O. loses. Dallas got lucky that the N.O. voodoo didn't shine in the last two minutes.

Too bad the Saints didn't wake up until the 4th quarter. I can't believe that kicker hit the upright. That was classic.

Damn it, the 49ers should have drafted DeSean Jackson in 2008. Oh what could have been.... Vernon Davis, DJ and Crabtree all running routes on the same team. Can you say, mismatch three times? Shit.

What the hell is going on in Pittsburgh that Ben has to throw for 500 yards. Where is the run game and the defense?

Packers need a new kicker and a new coach.

That said, I really despise when the refs decide the game. Pittsburgh was given 3 1st downs on that final drive.

I was watching the Cinn/SD game the ref's were throwing flags like crazy, only to have official to announce like five times, there's no flag on the play. They really have to get their heads out of their ass.

Damn Niners!!

It seems we have the potential to be a good team, its just putting it altogether is what seems to be the problem. Oh well, maybe next year.

Incredible game in Pittsburgh, so glad it turned out in a W. Penalties definitely helped that last drive, but pitt had plenty of retarded penalties called on them as well. At least sitting out in the cold I got to see a good game all the way till the clock hit 0

Anyone catch the end of the Fins game? Came back from 24-9 to choke in OT. Not the reason they lost but the penalty on Camarillo was total BS. Nobody had touched the interceptor after he slid. The play is still alive so Camarillo didn't even hit him hard and they called him for a penalty. Some of these refs are quick to jump the gun on unsportsmanlike.

And I heard on the radio that if Miami wins out and Jax and Denver each lose one game, we're in.

Yeah, then on the Chargers last drive they missed where the guy didn't get off the field in time which probably would've eventually prevented them from even attempting the field goal. And who called that stupid defensive play on that last throw to Jackson on the little out route...everybody in the world knew that was coming since they had to go out of bounds

Regardless of the loss, I'm happy with how we played for the most part against a team as hot as SD. Still can't believe Caldwell fumbled on another crucial play that ended up helping us lose (just like in Oakland).

The fuck we drafted in front of him is too stupid to learn a playbook. I think he has 1 career catch, and has been active for only a handful of games.

I just don't see how that stupidity wasn't noticed earlier

I saw that, and it was a HORRIBLE call. The hit wasn't malicious at all. I couldn't figure that one out.

I'm so relieved Dallas got the win. Romo looked awesome, Austin stepped up, and our D was amazing through the first 3 quarters. That Saints' crowd was definitely fired up. To get a win of any kind in December with Romo at the helm is a blessing

I didn't know who you were talking about (seriously, he does only have one catch) and I 'ed after seeing his career numbers. I guess that's worse than our last 1st round draft pick at WR a few years back. Made a handful of catches, then torn his ACL, was traded and never played a game again.

My friend brought up another good point, the 49ers also passed on Aaron Rodgers in 2005. We could've drafted down and ended up with one hell of a QB and possibly another impact player or two. I could care less about the Packers but I do admire Rodgers as a player. In that draft I was wondering why the 49ers didn't trade down, but I had faith in Smith but his 1st season was garbage.

Our team has passed on excellent local talent twice now.... I bet the next time they look to Cal for a draft pick, they'll end up with someone more like Kyle Boller and less like Aaron Rodgers

cripes i can't believe the colts are pulling this sheet again. it's not like it worked the other 2 seasons where they rested their starters and lost after the first round bye.

That was a dumb decision. I think this game took the momentum away from the colts. I can see them losing in the playoffs. I hope that doesnt happen though.
