Depends on other west teams move. That conference is too volatile. Plus Cleveland could get back but let's see what happens with Love when he opts out. Maybe they'll get the pieces to get over the top.

Of course. The question is how. He will def do a 1 year to take advantage of next year's higher cap. However does he sign a long term or another short deal next year to keep the pressure on Cavs mgmt to pay Tristan, the luxury tax, and acquire talent at his liking.

I was reading an article it's unlikely because of some clause that Chicago can exercise. Basically he would have to sign a 3 year deal with no options.

I read about how Denver staff and NIck Van Exel kept Jason Kidd and some Suns out of the Denver arena during an Avalanche game so that they could sign Antonio McDyess. Kind of the opposite but still strange since apparently Cuban and Dallas staff were left out.
